Adventure

This week has brought more work than I’ve had in months and so preparing for a trip to the Sahara desert for the Fisahara film festival has been challenging and squeezed around deadlines and the odd snatched yoga class. All I have done for over a week now has been write, record, eat and sleep. So here I am towards the last few days in LA before embarking on a big wild adventure and when I have a moment to pause what comes to mind is the brilliant quote from Mary Oliver’s poem “Tell me, what are you going to do with your one wild and precious life?”

It makes me smile, center myself and remember yes, this is what I am going to do with my one wild and precious life, I’m going to really live it. In technicolor, bravely and boldly and perhaps on a camel for some of the time.

I’ll be back in 3 weeks, until then have a wonderful wild and adventurous time with your one wild and precious life.
